The main objective of this training is to ensure that a strong training package is delivered to 13 activators and one team leader to equip them in the knowledge of high quality regarding psychosocial and mental health followed by coaching services thus empowering their relief work and on how to deal with traumatized cases and sensitize issues related to mental health and displacement, wars and emergencies so that the activators will conduct PSS and recreational activities for children as well as awareness sessions for parents.

Islamic Relief believes that all children have a right to personal dignity and protection from abuse and it recognizes the special responsibility and duty of care it bears to create a safe environment for children within the projects and programs it manages and supports. The interests of child safety and protection should be paramount to any other interest which might compromise it.
In order to offer multidisciplinary protection activities for children Syrian refugees to fulfil their needs, IRL will provide mental health and psychosocial support training in Bekaa area, in the aim of building capacity of 13 activators and enhance their skills and motivations regarding planning and implementing PSS activities and conducting awareness sessions for parents and children as well.
